Rockford entered this conference game after finally turning things around, and on a 2 game winning streak. Having faced NYA/Central earlier in the season for a couple of scrimmage games, kind of knew what to expect. But, NYA was having none of that, they came to play and in the end held on to a 53-52 victory to hand the Rockets another loss.

Rockets move to 12 – 5 on the season, 4 -2 in the section and 4 – 3 in the conference.
